Power: Ability to direct or influence the behavior of others or the course of events.
Empower: Make someone stronger and more confident especially in controlling their life and claiming their rights.
Combining these two terms in one sentence is very powerful: Power to Empower, yet we don't see it very often. It really does require strength and confidence in yourself to support other women. We see a lot of women with powerful positions in this world, and other women who are spectators of empowerment but are too weak to do so themselves. Empowering one another is easier said than done, it shouldn't be, but it is how it is.
Many may think that when you "empower", you lose some of your power. Their justification? The other person improves and maybe, just maybe, gets "better than them". This is absolutely stupid, they don't know that empowering other women reflects your inner strength and confidence. Let's say that that person does get "better than them", it shows that they don't have a problem with that happening because nobody even compares to them.
And that's how it should be, no woman should ever compare, or be compared to another woman.
My wish? That women stop competing, and start empowering one another because each female has different strengths and weaknesses than the other fellow females, and comparing/competing is of no use.
If all our strengths are combined, magical things can happen to this world.
